Synopsis
Narizinho, Pedrinho and Emília, the ragdoll, are ready to begin their presentation of the play O Faz de Contas do Sitio, at the Picapau Amarelo Homestead, anxiously awaited for by Dona Benta, Rabicó, Quindim, Visconde de Sabugosa and Tia Nastácia sitting in the audience. But then, the play is abruptly interrupted by Cuca, who had purloined the Make-Believe Book in retaliation for not having been invited to participate in the play. To get even, Cuca wishes that the Make-Believe book had never even existed, causing the magic book to explode into thin air. Consequentially, strange things begin to happen: Dona Benta is transformed into an ice statue, Rabicó takes on human legs, Visconde’s kernels turn into popcorn, Quindim turns into a helicopter, Aunt Nastácia turns into a young girl, Narizinho’s nose grows, Pedrinho is turned into a tinman and Emilia loses her voice. The Picapau Amarelo Homestead disappears completely and Cuca is worshipped by all the magical creatures. Will the kids be able to restore order in the magic kingdom and bring the homestead back as it was before?
