Synopsis
Caught up in the “June Demonstrations” four friends head out onto the streets in the state’s capital city. Their actions interfere directly with their plans and personal dreams. Imbued with a new political conscious, the friends face up to major existential dilemmas and the urgent need to mature. On this path, Sandra, Iara, Keyla and Andrea soon discover that politics are something one does non-stop – not only on election days. They come to understand that the school of life and the Girls from Benfica Channel are both immensely important to them, the city and Brazil as a whole.
