Synopsis
Pilar, a young chambermaid at the Fortaleza Hotel is set to leave for Dublin after New Year celebrations where she will try to start a new life for herself. Her path crosses with that of Shin, a middle-aged South Korean hotel guest who has come to Brazil to claim the body of her recently deceased husband and send it back to Seoul. Both their plans however begin to go awry and they, despite all their differences, wind up growing close and establishing an intense relationship of solidarity while endeavoring to find in one another the solution to their problems.
